Gates Pond

Emory Yarbrough is the best detective in Gates Pond even if he is working from a wheelchair. When his mysterious controller, Minnick, sends Teresa Kisling to deliver his next assignment, Emory finds himself falling in love with the lady he is supposed to be protecting from her stalker. Teresa Kisling also belongs to Minnick but has been trying to settle into a quieter life after her last mission for him went bad. Minnick has sent her to Gates Pond to recover, but she suspects he wants her to retire. As she tries to get away from her stalker, she finds herself protecting Emory from the madman who has returned from his past to threaten them both.
