Out to get revenge for the rape and sodomy of his mother plus the murder of his fiancé, a Coal and Iron Policeman, Frank Justice Rules, catches up with the culprits in a small coal mining village called the Patch. Haunted and driven by those events, Frank became a hard-nosed investigator, lawyer, policeman, thug, mogul and a rich avenger. He becomes troubled by the murder of his girlfriend, which triggers nightmares that incriminate him. When confronted with his mother's assailant he reflects on the events leading to that meeting. At the age of nine he witnesses his mother's violation which eventually prompts them to move to Philadelphia. There the family connects with his Uncle Tony, a Mafia figure that has amassed a huge fortune. Tony trains him as a boxer, brawler, womanizer and, on his murder, wills Frank his fortune. After graduating with a Law degree, Frank's love, Patty is murdered and he is accused. He changes his name and enlists in the Army as a Lieutenant and becomes a war hero.
