About This Book

Kelsey Greene and her three best friends, Diana, Melanie, and Fifi, are thirty-something city girls looking for love in the dating cesspool that is Manhattan. After viewing a certain “little” movie about a Greek weddingâ€"yes, that Greek weddingâ€"they come to the conclusion that American men just aren’t cutting it anymore and figure the grass must certainly be greener on the other side of the Atlantic. So, when Diana’s job at the Metropolitan Museum of Art sends her on a trip to Italy, they all go together in search of hot, foreign guys. They hit Italy, France, and Spain in their quest to find exotic love but, naturally, the quest is not without its complications: One of the girls already has a secret, foreign lover but is afraid the others won’t approve of him; one meets the man of her dreams the night before the trip and can’t stop thinking about him; one scares away nearly every potential man they meet with her, shall we say, “vibrant” personality; and the other one doesn’t even believe that true love actually exists. Eventually the gals all find love in some form or another, though not quite how they expected, and in the process, the ties that bind their friendship together are strengthened in ways they hadn’t imagined.
