About This Book

Umi has spent all her life with the dream of being a famous writer. She will go to any length to write the greatest novel ever told. One day, when struck with writer's block, she finds a pen and chooses to keep it. Then slowly, she comes to see that anything she writes with her pen comes true in real life. At first it is interesting, but soon she comes to find herself in great danger. People are slowly becoming more suspicious of her. And soon she finds out the truth about her pen. The pen held a spirit in it, the spirit of Kellan, a bitter and jaded poet. At first she believes that he came from her imagination. Soon she sees that he's real. Now that he has been released, he wants to move on with his life, forgetting everything in his past. Unfortunately, Umi stands in the way of peace and quiet for him. It doesn't help that she's annoying, stupid, and completely clueless about real life. It also doesn't help that he's finding himself attracted to her.
