About This Book

Aretha Johnson (Re-Re) is a troubled teenager that is faced with the negative influences of growing up in a poor, urban community. At the tender age of eight, she was forced into secrecy by the devil in disguise. Re-Re is introduced to sex, drugs, abuse and violence and unfortunately, she doesn't have anyone to confide in. She becomes option less and finds herself enduring the pain of many life-threatening circumstances. As a teenager she becomes the direct cause of an unpredictable tragedy, after deciding to turn her life around, but it's too late! Unknowingly, Re-Re was repeating a vicious cycle and just like many teenagers growing up in Camden, eventually she had to make a critical decision-choosing life over death!
