Eye of the Nightingale

Ava Foster is a young student nurse, cursed with the ability to sense and absorb the emotions of those around her. When she's assigned to Sunny Pines Rest Home as part of her clinical rotation, she discovers a web of patient abuse and neglect that leaves her disgusted. Vowing to put an end to this travesty, she learns quickly that asking questions at Sunny Pines is hazardous to your health. Her only chance of blowing the whistle on those responsible, is if she learns to use her empathic abilities in ways she never dreamed of before. Add in the fact that the psychotic ex-husband of one of her former patients is stalking her, her enigmatic, multimillionaire boss is keeping secrets from her, and one of the residents has abilities similar to her own, and only one thing is for certain; final exams will be the least of her worries.
