Eleni Beach

This novel tells the story of four friends Alexi, Marco, and twins Tomas and Eleni growing up on the wonderful island of Kefalonia. During the German occupation they befriend Kurt, a young soldier, who's eye for detail and natural gift with a camera is passed on to Alexi. Kurt is unfortunately sacrificed in order to protect Eleni, a deed which the friends find hard to understand. The four are forcefully parted at the end of the Second World War, until purely by accident they are hopefully to be reunited after fate lends a hand in the shape of an old black and white photograph. This long awaited meeting is planned to take place at the fabulous Eleni Beach on the island of Skiathos. It is a story full of love, romance, heartache and wasted years.
