This book has all the makings of a decent crime story corrupt politicians, organized crime, ambitious street thugs and a hero with an eclectic group of friends. The story s strongest element is its cast of characters ... there is a greedy developer, an upper management gangster, a hired killer, and Theo s friends from her housing complex. Her neighbors are believable and relationships are endearing.
