While other ten-year-old girls were marrying their Barbie dolls off to Ken and G.I. Joe, Monica's Barbie had her pink Corvette all packed, ready to do things solo. It was around this age when her father had walked out on the family, leaving her mother an emotional mess. Monica grew up determined not to end up like her mother. She refused to let a man get close enough to break her down. Now, at thirty, Monica has a successful career in advertising. She's making close to six figures, driving her dream luxury car, and living in a pricey Chicago home on Lake Shore Drive overlooking Lake Michigan.
