Like most of the other goddesses Desma called friends, she escaped from Olympus early on in her life. Her reasoning was a little bit different because all she was trying to do was get away from a mother that had hated her since birth. Having never been taken seriously in matters of love, he was excited to finally have a chance of finding someone that would understand him.
