Deadly Arts

Genevieve Galway is not looking for trouble. She is teaching English at St. Philomena's High School, playing gin rummy, minding her own business. Then Mark Duchat, a nasty art critic for the local paper, is found murdered at the Cromwell Art Gallery. And the primary suspect is Traci Beaupri, a young artist and teacher at St. Phil's. Convinced that Traci is innocent, Gen easily assembles a list of other suspects. Duchat had a talent for offending people -- from local artists Clint Madison and Omega Starlight to Traci's former boyfriend, Donald Tomcyk. Gen's unlikely ally in her investigations is Sister Madonna, famous both for her matchmaking and rule-bending. By the time Gen and Sister Madonna have put the picture together, another victim falls, and Gen appears to be next on the list.
