Coming Home

Laura Hart has spent the past few years at a big city university—to escape her small-town life in southern Alberta. But her mother has suddenly become ill, so Laura takes a job as an English teacher at her old high school so that she can spend time at home. To her surprise and consternation, she finds that the principal, her boss is none other than the object of her schoolgirl crush—Michael Foster. He was one of the star players on the Canadian National team and handpicked to coach the school basketball team. The boys idolized him and the girls made fools of themselves over the handsome young teacher. But Laura hid her feelings with a façade of insolence and deliberately did badly in his class to get his attention. Even now, she finds herself getting `feisty` every time she is alone with him. Will she ever be able to tell him how she feels? Can she make her schoolgirl crush become a reality?
