Clandestine Lives

An assassin, a legend in his own lifetime. A courtesan, famed for her beauty and skill. A jester, servant to a Duke with a fearsome reputation. Three people, one story. Supposedly, three seperate people who don't know one another and have nothing in common, but that isn't the truth. All three are bound to one another in a way that they could never imagine. All live under a heinous curse. The jester is an unconcious shapeshifter and the unwitting host of the other two personalities. Each manifests themselves when the need arises. They live their lives unaware of each other until the magical barriers seperating them begin to crumble. As they become aware of each other they have to accept the unpalatable truth about themselves and seek a solution. Unfortunately, the Empire is sliding into civil war and they must embroil themselves in the schemes of others before they are free to change their destiny.
