      Children of Rhatlan tells the tale of a brother and sister sharing one place in the world, which means that only one may be present at a given time. They are part of a rare group called "duals," and by the very religious are thought of as children of the dark god, Rhatlan. Though hated and feared, Garum and Vayin decide to see what the world has to offer. Enter a dark wizard who wants to extend his own life and cure his insanity by taking over one of their bodies, and our heroes find themselves in danger beyond what they would have ever expected. Anyone who feels persecuted, picked on, bullied, or generally different could benefit by living through Garum and Vayin's bravery. This coming of age tale, set in a world of magic and wizard schools, shows that indeed, it does get better.
