Michael and the Sorcerer's Password

Excitement blossoms in Michael's heart when he learns the opportunity has arisen to perfect his magic at Thorn Valley, where no one knows him. He goes without hesitation. Being a king's son has its ups and downs. Fitting in is tough for Michael, the young wizard-prince. People either worship you or treat you with disdain, but Michael just wants to be one of the crowd.

Meanwhile, mighty sorcerer James Barclay, Michael's unknown uncle, who runs Thorn Valley surreptitiously seeks his demise, invoking his right to the throne of the kingdom of Livingstone, which he claims Michael's father stole from him. With a false name and changed identity, he will use all the resources at his disposal to wrench the secret code of the king's power out of Michael in a cold-blooded attempt to kill them both. Meanwhile, only Michael knows the secret code of his father's powers and enjoys the protection of the almighty spirits of his kingdom.

Michael's adventures begin when he befriends thirteen-year-old Lee at Thorn Valley. As they inadvertently wander from town and into the mystical world around it, the pair face life-threatening, heart-pounding trials by sorcerers, wizards, and mystical beasts. Although Michael believes he is on a mission to perfect his magic, he is unsure why they are eager to kill him, unaware that Barclay is the mastermind behind it all. With the help of two beautiful young twins, Azashema and Joan, Michael manages to survive the initial attacks, but his epic journey has just begun.
