Description

In 1988 his daughter, son-in-law and two granddaughters were killed in a horrific crash on an Oregon highway because the cars and road were obscured by heavy smoke from clear-burning by farmers close by. He fought for forbidding farmers from doing so but even now, after his recent death, there has been no resolution. This is his book about that incident and the fight. He himself said that he made it a fictionalized account of his own grief and experiences.
