About This Book

While writing Keeper of the Waters, and after it was published I always had in my mind to bring Allen Jacob Fox, and his wife Morning Song and their first son Aaron, known as Three Eagles back into a new historical adventure just before the American Revolution began. Aaron being half white, and half Iroquois he was accepted by all the people in the Mohawk Valley, and looked upon as gifted by the Mohawk Indians, and the Iroquois Indians. his life was already planned for the future, but he did not realize this until he and his wife Blue Flower, a beautiful Mohawk Indian who Aaron grew up with at his fathers home at Twin Noses along the Mohawk River surrounded by high cliffs, and dense forest. Aaron who now was an Indian Affairs Agent was asked to go to the Ohio frontier and the Pennsylvania frontier to settle some trading disputes between the British who now have taken over the many French forts after the French and Indian War. Aaron and his wife will soon see how the British soldiers were cheating, and misusing the Indians. here they will see the hate that was brewing between the British and local settlers, and the Indians. In this wild frontier they will see, and feel the hatred against them as well. A friendship will form between Aaron and a stranger that will last forever, and what the future will hold for them and the people of the Mohawk, and Hudson valley just before the outbreak of another war, and for their freedom from the British.
