Bad Apples

Max Martin, a high-school English teacher, arrives at work one day to discover that his school is the victim of a hostile corporate takeover. All school employees, from administrators to faculty, including Max, are out of work. To make matters worse, Max and his beautiful coworker become embroiled in the circumstances surrounding a series of murders at the school. When Max infuriates a local pusher, he finds himself on the lam, pursued by vicious criminals who are more interested in demolishing Max than discussing literature. A little desperate research leads Max to a numbing realization: some of his fellow teachers are in cahoots with the drug dealer! This suspenseful thriller is packed with colorful quirky characters and intriguing information about how the educational system really works.
