About This Book

Elizabeth Dorsett is a single 33-year-old computer programmer. She comes home from a hectic day at work and has a couple glasses of wine to relax. Strangely, the wine seems to affect her more than usual and she starts to fall asleep. Just as she dozes off, she sees a male stranger walk into the room. When she wakes, she finds the stranger is holding her captive in a locked room, which has the window nailed shut and bars on it. She spends the next six months trying to escape the room in which she is being held captive. He tells her they are the only ones on the island, which he owns. The only way off the island is the airplane which she doesn't know how to fly. A ham radio is the only communication from the island and he keeps it locked up. He still doesn't seem to want to give her a reason why he has brought her here and is holding her captive. After she has been on the island for a year, she ends up in Miami, Florida, but doesn't know what to do next. She has been legally dead for a year, her past life is gone, and she doesn't even know who she is anymore. How does she start her life over?
