Andrew Faulkner was just an eight year old child when he witnessed the murder of his parents. He's seventeen now and struggles with the memories. He's tried all types of things... from self-harm to drinking, hoping they will ease the ache. He finds that they only distract him for short periods of time, and though he knows he needs much more than all of that, he doesn't want to admit that he needs something much bigger to heal his wounds. He's been searching for years for the cure, only to end up right back at the drawing board each time. After watching Drew struggle in math, his teacher suggests Kayla Patterson as a tutor. They both reluctantly agree to pair up, but neither one of these teenagers know just how life changing this will be. Little does Drew know that, soon after moving to New York and meeting Kayla, he will find just what he's been looking for all along... He finds that, after all this time, he's only needed one thing to make him whole again.
