Alison

The story begins with Alison falling for an older man. He tricks her into thinking that he loves her, only to take away her innocence. She goes through high school on a destructive course, meeting along the way a girl named Carrie – a girl that has the same horrible past that Alison does. They become best friends immediately. Alison meets a man she is sure to marry, only to learn that she cannot trust him. Alison, with friends in tow, takes a much-needed beach trip. She meets a man named Erik there – a man that captivates her, but she refuses to let him touch her heart. We find that years later, while in California, Erik returns into her life. Still, she can not allow him to get past the brick wall she has formed around her. No man has ever proved to her that he's worthy of love. Alison finds herself entangled in a love triangle, one she didn't ask for and doesn't want. When Erik's life is threatened, Alison must make a decision that could affect the rest of her life.
