About This Book

After Life Life is a finely crafted murder mystery that takes place during the five days following the sudden death of Andrew Law, chief justice of the Texas Supreme Court.

On his last day on earth, Andy was diagnosed with a fatal disease. When he arrives in After Life Life, he discovers he did not die of natural causes. He was murdered. His wife, Melissa, also dies, and when she gets to After Life Life, she makes it to Class One. Andy, who is stuck in Class Two, will never see her again. He has become an After Life Life widower.

Andy is later informed that his murderer has inadvertently been let into Class Two, and the evaluators don't know who it is. If Andy can solve his own murder, his status will be reconsidered, and he may get the only seat currently available in Class One.

Andy's investigation uncovers a diabolical plot that influenced a vote in the Texas Supreme Court by the governor of Texas who became president of the United States three years after his death. The court ruling was given credit for causing the Depression of 2009, and the subsequent nuclear holocaust of 2016. The ending is a surprising double cross that has more characteristics of the human species than the Godlike wisdom of a Class One After Life Life evaluator.
