Abuse of Power

Henry Landers, Navy Lieutenant Commander at the Pentagon in Washington, D.C., never expected the changes in his life from his investigation of the murder of a Naval Officer and wrongdoing that leads to the White House. Beth, the head of an organization advocating the shrinking of the military, meets Henry. In spite of differing views, she finds herself falling for him. She is suspected by the White House of learning of their wrongdoing, and becomes a target for their cover-up. Henry had no women in his life since losing the woman he loved years ago. He is devoted to the Navy and hopes to be an Admiral. Enamored with Beth despite differing views, will he ever have a serious relationship with her? Because of his investigation and the threat to the Presidency, will his Naval career be over or will he even survive?
