A Rock in a Hard Place

Life hasn't always been a "crystal stair" for jazz musician, Daija Rogers. Her success is preluded by one big rollercoaster ride of heartache and disappointment. There was a time in Daija's life that she was unconvinced that she would ever obtain the happiness that she so desperately longed for. It was only after she unsuccessfully tried to end her life that she realized there was a higher power watching over her. After her suicidal attempt failed, she tried to live with the haunting secret from her past that almost claimed her life. As the story begins, Daija invites the reader to join her as she reviews all of the events that have transpired in her life while she was in pursuit of happiness and peace of mind. In the end she finally realizes that, although most of her life's journey she had been stuck between a rock and a hard place, her journey wasn't made alone because she had "A Rock IN a Hard Place.
