Heads or Tails: What's Fielder's Choice? When Gazette editor Art Fielder's beloved wife dies, he's confronted by a bevy of glamorous females determined to take her place, including one who is (or isn't) murdered in the first chapter, and another from his long-ago college daze (his name for it). And at the same time, his newspaper business is threatened as never before-consider, for example, the in-print demise of Newsweek magazine and Denver's daily Rocky Mountain News. In addition, his attitude concerning romance suddenly changes from desperately mourning his lost spouse to becoming shamefully aroused by advances made by the many available women whose pursuit follows him from Texas to NYC, Boston, Chicago, Paris, and back, until his choice is finally...what? Irresistible? Impractical? Or more fun than any-at least once-unfaithful widower deserves?
