Cletus — William Brown

Set just as the Civil War is bringing its tide of violence and hatred into the Great Plains, Cletus, the slave of a Choctaw Indian plantation owner in Indian Territory (Southern Oklahoma), decides to escape to Kansas, after being brutally beaten and framed by his sadistic foreman. This starts a remarkable journey of discovery and adventure.
