Dragon Talker — Steve Anderson

Caught in a war between dragons and mages, Yuri doesn't have a lot of time to learn how be his village's Dragon Talker. It won't be easy, either, as the only people in his village who knew what it takes have died in a sudden fire of decidedly suspicious origin. To make matters worse, his village was claimed by the largest dragon in the land. Samora, a fierce ice dragon with a twisted sense of humor, is just as likely to eat Yuri as accept him. Yuri will learn first-hand the ancient warning and curse, “Beware the dragon's tail.”
