No doubt about it -- this was the stupidest plan Lauren Grimes had ever come up with. No one else would try to photograph a Louisiana swamp in the middle of a hurricane... no one except independent, gotta-get-that-shot Lauren. Then again, being at the sweet-talking Southern lawman's old, rustic cabin might just be the best thing that's ever happened to her.
Rescuing a city girl with a stubborn streak wasn't high on Sheriff Larry Boudreaux's list. But no self-respecting Cajun gentleman could ignore a mademoiselle in distress. Larry's happy to make the best of being stranded, and with Lauren so close, he knows it won't be the water sweeping him away.
