Winter of Grace
Driven out of the rugged mountains of eastern Tennessee, armed robbers steal more than Evangeline's winter serenity.
Dylan and Susan St. John have settled comfortably into their life in the Cajun country of South Louisiana and are preparing to have their first child. They have grown to love the serenity and the peace of the bayous and back roads around Evangeline, but their lives are about to take a turn down a different path.
Two men armed with rifles and wearing military garb hold up a local business, the first of a series of robberies in the small towns bordering the Atchafalaya Basin. The teenage daughter of a local judge disappears shortly afterward and is believed to be held hostage by the elusive robbers in their sanctuary deep in the trackless basin. To complicate matters, reports have verified that the violent men also have a child with them.
While the shadowy swamps hide a killer, one man won't rest until justice is served, even at the cost of his own life.
