Top of the Moon
Lacy Purcell was delighted with her new parcel of land in the mountains of Oregon. It was her own little spot to cherish and nurture, complete with a view of towering trees, bubbling brook and glimmering moon. Ward Falconer was a friendly enough neighbor - at first. -- But when the handsome logger announced his intention to purchase Lacy's property and chop down the trees, Lacy was furious, Let him keep his lumberjacks on his own land! He might have won her heart, but Lacy was going to guard every twig on her five acres of God's good earth.
