About the Author

Randolph Randy Camp, author of COREVILLE PARK a reggae novel and MONICA, A SHORT STORY COLLECTION, was born on March 12, 1961 in rural Spotsylvania County, Virginia. Randy's inspiring tale 'WET MATCHES' is a Quarter-Finals Prize Winner of The Writers Network 14th Annual Fiction Competition in Los Angeles, California. Randy is also a Youth Advocate and Mentor. Randy has a passion for working with at-risk and troubled teenagers. Randy's previous novels include America No Purchase Necessary, WET MATCHES, FALSE DANDELIONS, 29 DIMES, and '...THEN THE RAIN'. Aside from writing, Randy attended Erie Community College in Buffalo, NY, where he acquired an Associate of Science Degree in the field of Mental Health Studies and Substance Abuse Counseling in May 2015. Randy has five daughters Christina, Natasha, Melinda, Randie, Ranielle and one son Joshua. Currently, Randy resides in Des Moines, Iowa. Two of Randy's favorite quotes are "Don't let others define you -- You define yourself!" and "Don't be afraid to dream BIG!”
