Nurse Morva Brownlee couldn't understand it. Everything pointed to her adored Matron being involved in some way with - of all people! - the hospital porter.

But of course it was none of Morva's business. Anyway, she was too occupied with her own troubles, trying to cope with an erring fiance. It was strange, then, that the porter should continue to occupy so much of her thoughts!
