About the Author

She writes contemporary sweet romances and cozy mysteries. She lives in a small town in Washington State, near Seattle and she loves to write about small coastal towns, although those that she writes about are figments of her imagination.

She used to be a tax accountant, but realized that writing romantic stories about people falling love or making her amateur sleuths discover secrets about their suspects was way more fun than depreciating assets.

There's never a dull moment in her household, with a tech geek husband, two small boys that keeps her on my toes, along with two cantankerous cats and a mischievous house rabbit. Tidbits of her everyday life have a tendency to find their way into her fiction world, so watch out! :)

She loved writing the Candle Beach series and thinking about all the wonderful times she had spent exploring the beaches of Washington Coast with her loved ones. The sound of the waves crashing along the shores always centers her and brings about peace, as it does for many of her characters. There's something magical about the coast and she hopes comes through the pages as you experience Candle Beach along with her characters.
