About the Author

Domestic and international best-selling author, Nicholas Sparks' novels have been translated in over 45 languages and made almost $80 million dollars internationally. Sparks leapt into the literary scene with The Notebook in 1996.

Originally selling pharmaceuticals, Sparks followed up The Notebook with favorites like A Walk to Remember and Dear John. Seven of his novels have been turned into successful films with the latest, The Lucky One, being released in 2012. Sparks lives in North Carolina with his wife and family.
