This is the first of a series of stories about the adventures of Biggie the Chihuahua, an alien dog from somewhere in the cosmos. His mission is to help animals and to teach children about the environment and about taking responsibility for the way we live and the power we have to help the planet. The story takes place on earth where a frog is sad because environmental issues have turned his pond turned into no place to play. He relates his situation to Biggie who pledges to help him. Together the two friends think about how to solve Froggie's problem. Deciding to engage the help of children, the two friends form a plan. Biggie invents a game called "Biggies Says"; using the game they set the kids to work and in no time the children help to fix Froggie's pond. Biggie Says: "Hey kids, did you know that there are 17 goals to help save all of humanity and our world? They are called the Sustainable Development Goals. Climate change is threatening the way we live and the future of our planet. Severe weather and rising sea levels are affecting people and animals all over the world. From a small farmer in the Philippines to kids in London to camels in Timbuktu to penguins in the Antarctic; climate change is affecting everyone, especially the poor and vulnerable, groups like women, children and the elderly. So, how will you help stop climate change hurting people and animals? Well, you can help by being a BIG-gie champion for our planet, in the next few pages you can learn about some of the things you can do." The end of the book includes 8 environmentally positive actions that children can take with the grown-ups to help the planet.
