DAY OF WRATH

It is a year after August Street, a senior fellow at the research institute HP Carlisle foundation, has published a book entitled Raven. Though Street used once top-secret British documents that are now declassified to describe the events of the book, he and his publisher agreed to put out the book as fiction. Some cosmetic changes were made, but for the most part, the story about how, during the darkest days of WWII, when Britain stood alone against the Nazi armies, preparing for the invasion code-named Operation Sea Lion, Britain ambushed Hitler's private train, killed Hitler and had actor Archie Smthyes (whose only claim to fame was an uncanny ability to mimic Hitler), impersonate the Nazi dictator long enough to issue a single order -- Stand down from Operation Sea Lion -- is true.

What is also fact is that when it came time for Smthyes to step down and escape the Nazis, he refused. Consequently, two fatal decisions were made in Churchill's war room; the first resulted in the murder of six million Jews, and the second cost the lives of 20 million Russians. If it is revealed that Street's bookconfirms all this, England stands to become a leper nation overnight -- devastated from world outrage.

Street is confronted by the HP Carlisle Foundation to sign a document asserting that the book Raven is nothing more than the product of his imagination and all characters and events therein are fictional. Street refuses to sign the document, and is released from his work. This he can accept, but when he realizes that he is being stripped of his identity -- stripped of his physical presence in America -- he is forced to act!

The momentum builds as Street pieces together the puzzle of his missing persona -- betting his life to regain his life -- resolving to destroy those who have attempted to destroy him!
