When celebrity chef Charlie Irons is let go from his daytime cookery slot, Louise Drew becomes his replacement. But with minimal cookery experience, appalling on-air nerves and disastrous culinary experiments, she is unable to sustain viewing figures and is sacked. She applies for a new job as a personal assistant with catering experience, but realises to her horror that it would mean working for Charlie Irons - and looking after two headstrong young girls.
