Jean is finding freedom from her past and Grant has hopes for their future. Slash is in jail, and Candy moves forward with her new ministry despite it scandalizing half the church and forcing the rest to face their own prejudices and fears. I also feel compelled to share that perhaps Shattered could reach an even larger audience, a targeted audience with a vested interest focusing on prevention-Christian educators, counselors,parent teacher associations, etc... Imagine Shattered as part of an age appropriate required reading for specific classes within school curriculums, support groups for students, outreach programs, increased awareness for students leaving home for the first time and entering college or ministry, and most importantly, the number of potential victims saved from a life of slavery. - Chris

Kimberly does a good job putting a difficult topic into a form people can accept and digest. This book will hold your interest and expose a nerve that needs awakening at the same time. The different perspectives of the various characters to sexual abuse and the prostitutes is a great representation of how Christians struggle in dealing with this issue. Sexual abuse and trafficking are realities not just in large cities but also in small town America. Whether the topic is something you are familiar with or not,this book is a must read! Even better...join in the fight to putting an end to this evil. - Christie
