How Many Pills Did You Take is the final book of the Grumbles the Novel trilogy.

The zany free-for-all of the first two novels is replaced by the seriousness of the situation as secret agent Pettie Grumbles realizes that it's time for all of the gadgets to come out of the bag and all of the tricks to come out of the book if she's ever going to save the world.

As daylight breaks and pirates invade Montreal's port, Pettie and Toga hurry up Mont-Royal and infiltrate The Weatherman's glorious, grease redolent pageant to himself, the festival of Spudapalooza.

Will Pettie and Toga be able to find Toga's kidnapped friends and free them? Can they stop The Weatherman from deploying his secret weapon meant to ensure world domination? Will Pettie reset the cycle of nature and make it snow? And finally, will Pettie and Hector sail off into the sunset? Telmemydoom might know, but, predictably, no one wants to ask her.

About the Author: Karen Faris

As an advocate for responsible government and a decent education for all children, Karen Faris has been complaining for as long as anyone can remember. Rather than go live on a planet for one as some may have suggested, she decided to write fiction.

She resides in Rochester, New York where she enjoys swimming, biking along the Erie Canal, and running almost as fast as she can walk.

She lives in a suburb blissfully unaware if the place sports a slogan such as in Webster, where life is worth living, or Perinton, the greatest trail town or Fairport, the All-American town. Despite the lack of signage, she suspects her suburb is still All American unless the Canadians have invaded and changed the border without anyone knowing about it. She doubts that this has happened because they would have written ahead to ask if anyone minded.

Karen has a tendency to get silly because life is too short and too serious too much of the time. Grumbles the Novel is her antidote to that.
