When Clint Adams rescues beautiful Milly Hathaway from a cornered bandit, he already knows she's the daughter of the richest man in the territory. But what surprises the Gunsmith is when the young miss mistakes a frisky night of passion for a marriage proposal.

This time, however, even Clint has to admit marriage may not be such a bad idea. But Milly's brother and the ranch foreman have another proposal for Clint: ride out -- either sitting up or laying over the saddle.
