Cricket has always been the teacher's pet.

Cricket Kaufman isn't popular with her classmates. She's too busy being the teacher's pet. Cricket always knows the right answer. And the teacher always picks her to go on important errands.

Now that Cricket is in fourth grade, things have changed. Mrs. Schraalenburgh doesn't have favorites, and she doesn't appreciate tattletales.
