After a failed marriage proposal, and an apathetic suicide attempt, Samuel Grant is looking for a reason to wake up in the morning. An ex-child star and the son of two famous celebrities, Samuel searches for an existence worth living while wandering through the surreal landscape of the entertainment industry. Trying to see through a haze of scotch and antidepressants, his journey takes him through the flashbulbs of gossip obsessed paparazzi, the confined limits of a hospital bed, the seedy apartment of a neo-hippie, the emotional neutrality of a therapist's office, the social bubble of a Canadian reality show, and the imprisoned realm of a hotel suite with limitless room service.
