About the Author

Janet was born in Newmarket, Suffolk, and during her going-out-to-work days was a medical secretary. She worked in hospitals both in London and the provinces, including St. Dunstan's in Sussex, where she worked for the medical officer for many years.

In Sussex she wrote first of all general fiction novels, then moved on, at the advice of her agent, to Medical Romance novels.

She says she gets her ideas when she is walking her cavalier spaniel on the Downs. The wind whispers them into her ear, "Do this; do that.… Say this; say that.… Go home and write it now!"

With the view and the elements to inspire her, not to mention two nurses in her family to help her with research, she aims to keep writing Medical Romance novels and to plot till she drops.
