Ahiba — James Mascia
Ahiba, a young Navajo boy, is given the responsibility to watch over the tribe's flock. But Ahiba soon grows bored with the task and falls asleep. While he is asleep, a bear attacks the flock. What is Ahiba to do? This story is meant to teach children about responsibility and bravery, and it will show children that even if they do make mistakes, it is okay to admit it and to fix them.
