Exiles by James Joyce
James Joyce was a prominent Irish author and poet whose unorthodox style helped distinguish him as one of the most important writers of the 20th century. With classics such as Ulysses, Finnegans Wake, A Portrait of the Artist as a Young Man, and Dubliners, Joyce remains one of the most widely read authors in history. Exiles, published in 1918, is Joyce's only play. The play draws on the classic short story The Dead and centers around a love triangle between an Irish writer, his wife, and a journalist.
