Lynching at Prospect Falls — Jack Matthews

Town marshal Matt Walker becomes increasingly worried when his young nephew Joey Crane disappears on his way to visit his uncle. All clues point in the direction of Prospect Falls, a town owned and controlled by wealthy rancher H.J. Copeland of the Bar C - whose cattle are rustled on a regular basis. But the thieving gang is actually led by his own foreman, and anyone caught straying onto ranch land is lynched to divert attention from the real culprits...
