City kid Corbett "Griffy" Griffith III can't wait for summer vacation to begin. The twelve-year-old's annual trip to his uncle's Wisconsin fishing resort promises more than adventure and mischief this time around. Strange events lead Griffy to one disappointment after another. He and Pike must unravel a mystery that pits them against a trusted friend and an invasive species fierce enough to ruin the lake and the livelihood of everyone on it.
