About the Author

Gerald Seymour's first novel was Harry's Game. in 1975, and his screenplay for the television film version won the Pye Television Award. Eric Ambler called it "one of those rare pleasures, a considerable novel that is also a superb thriller". Each succeeding novel, The Glory Boys, Kingfisher, Red Fox, In Honour Bound, Field of Blood, A Song in the Morning, At Close Quarters and Home Run has touched the raw nerve of a contemporary issue.

Mr Seymour, once a reporter for Independent Television News, now lives with his family in the West Country.
