The Bunco Babes are not your average retirees. When they're not throwing the dice, they like to throw themselves into juicy mysteries. But murder itself is a dicey business, and in this game, luck can run out for good....

Kate McCall loves Bunco. Gardening, not so much. But when Kate's friend and fellow Bunco Babe Rita Larsen invites her to a gardening club banquet, she goes. After all, what are friends for? Rita has another girlfriend coming. Her old college roommate, Sheila, is now a famous botanist, and she has agreed to be the guest speaker at the banquet. It seems like a lucky roll!

Sheila and her significant other look fabulous, and speaking engagements and book deals have put their portfolio in the green. But the banquet food doesn't agree with them, and when Sheila's beau does a permanent face-plant, murder rears its head. Suspicion immediately falls on Rita, who has always envied Sheila's success. Now Kate has to start rolling out an investigation of her own before someone tosses a Bunco Babe behind bars....
