Her fictitious lives have to be read to be believed, yet as they happen they seem perfectly plausible, almost terrifyingly inevitable. The girl is quite beautiful, tall, with a kind of Garbo-like way of walking and moving and wearing her clothes. She is altogether extraordinary; somehow blandly evil. It would be unfair to tell more of the people she is involved with especially the men, or to disclose the final denouement, for suspense is woven into the plot and maintained to the final dramatic paragraph.
